41 40 M3SP, BRAZIL Every year, up to 400,000 m2 worth of concrete for walls and slabs for new and cost-efficient residential space are produced in São Paulo by Brazilian building materials supplier M3SP. The precast concrete parts are placed in a curing chamber and then removed with a special stacker crane. The concrete elements, which weigh up to 15 t, are stored on transport pallets that are precisely stacked and re-stacked one on top of the other in the curing area, thereby saving space. In spite of the high humidity and temperatures of up to 50 °C, construction site supply can be guaranteed at all times.
