7 6 REFERENCE PROJECT SCHLETTER, GERMANY Vollert installed a special crane for a buffer warehouse belonging to Schletter GmbH, Europe‘s leading manufacturer of solar instal- lation systems. The crane is able to lift profiles of 6, 12 or 18 m in length. The lifting gears and drive units had to be extremely compact due to the limited height in the hall. This was solved by using a crane with a span of 17 m and a trolley for transverse movements. The trolley with 3 lifting gears, is able to lift a single load of 3 t or several synchronously.
