KG LIEBHERR-HYDRAULIK- BAGGER, GERMANY Liebherr is moving into new areas thanks to a large-parts coating facility for excavators in Kirchdorf. Parts weighing up to 20 t, 12.5 m long and 4.5 m wide pass through the coating stations, freely suspended from an overhead track. A special drive solution ensures optimal explosion protection. At central points, distri- butor manipulators take over transport units and move them to the intended priming, coating, evaporation and drying cabins. 1 After drip drying, the workpieces are automatically moved to free preparation stations.
