17 BRIDGNORTH, GREAT BRITAIN Vollert built a 120-m-long high-bay warehouse for aluminium coils weighing up to 12 t for the British aluminium manufacturer Bridgnorth Aluminium. The single-aisle warehouse is only 11 m tall since it had to be integrated into an existing building complex. It has three levels with more than 300 bins in total in 52 rows. The high-bay warehouse is connected to the new cold-rolling mill via coil transfer cars (Vollert CTC).
